Andrew Simpson

Andrew Simpson is the founder of VERT Design Studio in Sydney. As a designer, Andrew creates from discarded materials - bottle caps, skateboard decks, vinyl records, old CDs. Simpson’s approach proves that constraints aren’t creativity killers - they’re creativity catalysts. By deliberately limiting himself to waste materials, he forces innovation that wouldn’t emerge with unlimited resources. His work demonstrates that removing the “perfect” materials often reveals better solutions hidden in what others consider garbage. Simpson shows that the question isn’t “What do I need to create this?” but “What can I create with what already exists?”
