Privacy Policy — 97% Creative

1. Who runs this

97% Creative is operated by Rennie Lab Pty Ltd, an Australian company based in Naarm (Melbourne). When this policy says “we,” we mean that company.

We keep what we need to run the platform and nothing more:

Account data — your email address (and optionally a name) when you sign in.
Assessment answers — the nine answers you give the Creative Confidence Assessment, and the derived score / tier. Stored against your account if you’re signed in; against your email if you submit anonymously.
Field Guide progress — which days you’ve completed and any reflections you write as field notes. Only you can read these.
Membership state — whether you have an active membership, where it came from (Stripe / book / invite), and when it expires.
Server logs — minimal request logs (URL, status, rough timestamp) for debugging and abuse prevention. No fingerprinting.

To run the platform — show you your assessment history, field notes, membership.
To send transactional email — magic-link sign-in, receipts, content you opt into.
To improve the product (in aggregate — for example, the % of users in each tier).

We never use your data to train external AI models. We never sell or rent it.

Three groups:

You — via your dashboard and field notes export.
The team at 97% Creative — Ben Rennie and any future staff with a need to access support tickets or operate the platform.
Sub-processors we rely on — Supabase (database), Vercel (hosting), Stripe (payments), Resend (email). Each has their own published privacy practices.

Email support@97percent.co and we’ll act within 30 days (usually much sooner).

The platform isn’t designed for people under 16. We don’t knowingly collect data from anyone under that age.

If we materially change this policy we’ll email anyone with an active account before it takes effect, and update the date at the top of this page.
