1. Who we are
97% Creative is operated by Rennie Lab Pty Ltd, an Australian company. References to “we,” “our,” or “us” mean Rennie Lab Pty Ltd. References to “you” mean the person using the platform.
2. Your account
- You need to be at least 16 to create an account.
- You’re responsible for keeping your sign-in email secure.
- You can delete your account at any time by emailing support@97percent.co.
3. Membership and payment
- Membership is AUD $97/year billed annually via Stripe.
- It auto-renews unless cancelled. You can cancel any time via the Stripe portal linked from your account.
- Refunds: if you cancel within 14 days of first signing up and haven’t consumed substantial member content, we’ll refund in full. After that we don’t offer refunds — but you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
- Book or invite-code grants are gifts of access — they don’t come with a refund because no money changed hands with us for them.
4. Content and licence
- Our content — everything we publish (assessment, Field Guide, prompts, tools, research, recordings, brand) is © Rennie Lab Pty Ltd. As a member you get a personal, non-transferable licence to access and use it for your own creative practice.
- Your content — your field notes, brief builder outputs, assessment answers — remain yours. We have a limited licence to store and process them in order to run the platform.
- You agree not to republish, resell, or systematically download member-only content for redistribution.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Share your account credentials with others or sublicense your access.
- Scrape, copy, or otherwise extract bulk content from the platform.
- Use the platform for any unlawful, deceptive, or harassing purpose.
- Attempt to compromise the security or integrity of the systems running the platform.
We can suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.
6. Availability
We’ll do our best to keep the platform online and working, but we don’t guarantee zero downtime. Scheduled maintenance, outages from sub-processors (Supabase, Vercel, Stripe), and unforeseen incidents can happen — we’ll communicate quickly when they do.
7. Disclaimers
- The Creative Confidence Assessment is an educational tool grounded in published research. It is not a clinical diagnostic instrument.
- Field Guide and Prompts content is for personal practice, not professional advice for specific projects.
- The Brief Builder produces draft language — review and edit before using it in a commercial context.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the platform is capped at the amount you’ve paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We’re not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
Nothing in these terms excludes any non-excludable rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Disputes are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
10. Changes
If we materially change these terms we’ll let active members know by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that means you accept the new terms.
